French Onion Soup
4 medium onions, thinly sliced, about 3 cups
2 T butter
2 cans condensed beef broth, 2.5 cups
1.25 C water
1 t Worcestershire sauce.
Hard rolls or French bread
Grated parmesan cheese or grated mozzarella cheese
Cook onion in butter until it's lightly browned. Add beef broth, water
and Worcestershire sauce, simmer about 20 min. Sprinkle bread slices with
cheese. Place bread in oven until cheese is melted, usually about 5
min. Float cheese topped toast on each serving of soup. Serves 4-6
