Cranberry Sauce
1 C sugar
1 C water
1 pkg. fresh cranberries (you can freeze the pkg.)
In saucepan mix sugar and water stirring occasionally, bring to boil, add cranberries, return to boil, reduce heat, boil gently 10 minutes or until cranberries are soft, stirring occasionally. Remove from heat. Cool to room temperature. Press through sieve or strainer if desired.
