GRANDMA’S SUGAR COOKIES – Myrna Skopek
1 C. White Sugar
1 C. Powdered Sugar
˝ lb. Butter, softened
1 C. Oil
2 Eggs
˝ tsp. Salt
˝ tsp. Cream of Tartar
1 tsp. Baking Soda
1 tsp. Vanilla
4 C. Flour
Cream sugar, butter, eggs and oil. Add dry ingredients and vanilla. Refrigerate for at least one hour or overnight. Roll into balls. Roll in sugar. Flatten with bottom of glass, sprinkle with colored sugar and bake for 10-12 min. at 350°
