Cream Cheese and Sour Cherry Spread

 

Makes about ¾ cup

 

4      oz. cream cheese, softened

2T     chopped dried sour cherries

2      T slivered almonds toasted and chopped

1      t mild honey

1      t fresh lemon juice

1      drop almond extract

 

Stir together all ingredients with a pinch of salt in small bowl.  Will last 1 week in refrigerator.
